Health Diversity Equity and Inclusion Alliance welcomes Shamekka Marty to the team, as the Director, Patient Ambassador and Outreach. She is a leader in health equity; Shamekka has focused on improving access for those within underserved communities. She has personally navigated the challenges of Lupus, kidney disease, and several other autoimmune conditions. Her advocacy efforts have been an inspiration for many who face similar challenges. She is a tireless advocate for patient-centered care. She graduated from Rutgers University with BS in International Business and obtained her PMP from Rutgers School of Business. She obtained certifications from Harvard in Health Equity. Her focus is on Health Equity, AI, Women’s Health and Chronic Illness.
